Nafiso combines her dedication to social justice with years of civic involvement. She currently serves as Vice President of Outreach for her daughter’s school PTA, a role that has significantly deepened her understanding of the local educational system and inspired her to pursue a seat on the school board. Her passion for making a difference in Westerville extends beyond education —she is a current member of the Westerville Parks & Recreation Advisory Board, DEI Council member, and represents Ward 4 on the Franklin County Central Committee.
As a candidate for the Westerville City School Board, Nafiso Jamale is committed to bold, forward-thinking leadership. She is not just seeking to fix existing problems—she is determined to help reimagine a more inclusive, transparent, and equitable future for all students. Her priorities include promoting educational equity, supporting student mental health, and ensuring fiscal responsibility in every decision.

Professionally, Jamale is a Licensed Medical Social Worker at a nonprofit where she serves as a clinical supervisor supporting special need kids, trauma survivors, youth, and families.

Nafiso Jamale holds Master’s Degree in Social Work from Write State University & Miami University (Joint Program) and a Bachelor Degree in Public Health from Kent State University.
Family/Home:
Nafiso called Westerville home for over a decade—and it’s where she proudly lives today. She isdeeply rooted in the community and committed to its future.
