Nafiso Jamale is a passionate advocate for education and a respected community leader with a strong commitment to advancing Westerville’s public school system. As a social worker, proud alumna, mental health advocate, and mother of two students in the Westerville City Schools. She brings a unique blend of both professional insight and personal experience to the challenges facing our educational landscape. Nafiso combines her dedication to social justice with years of civic involvement. She currently serves as Vice President of Outreach for her daughter’s school PTA, a role that has significantly deepened her understanding of the local educational system and inspired her to pursue a seat on the school board. Her passion for making a difference in Westerville extends beyond education —she is a current member of the Westerville Parks & Recreation Advisory Board, the Franklin County DEI Council member, and represents Ward 4 on the Franklin County Central Committee. As a candidate for the Westerville City School Board, Nafiso Jamale is committed to bold, forward-thinking leadership. She is not just seeking to fix existing problems—she is determined to help reimagine a more inclusive, transparent, and equitable future for all students. Her priorities include promoting educational equity, supporting student mental health, and ensuring fiscal responsibility in every decision.
